The Dry Fire Con is a water-free quarantine and fire-suppression container for damaged electric vehicles, manufactured to DIN 14505 and DIN 30722-1 and designed to be picked up by a hook-lift truck. The vehicle is loaded at the incident site, secured in the container and removed in the same container — without water, power or a prepared surface being needed on site.
What counts at the incident

Picked up by a hook-lift truck
Manufactured to DIN 14505 and DIN 30722-1. The container is picked up like any roll-off container, brought to the incident site and set down there — without a special vehicle and without additional equipment.
No fire water at the incident site
Water-based methods tie up personnel for hours and produce contaminated fire water that has to be retained and disposed of as hazardous waste. The AkkuGrain granulate works dry and is already inside the container.
Ready for use without infrastructure
No power, no water connection, no prepared surface. The container stands on any paved, level surface and works without being triggered by the emergency crew.
Removal in the same container
Certified by TÜV SÜD for load securing to VDI 2700 Part 8 and approved for vehicles up to 4,500 kg. The vehicle is loaded once and does not have to be reloaded for removal.
Damaged vehicles may also be carried
A dangerous goods expert assessment evaluates the use under ADR 2025: damaged vehicles whose battery cannot be removed safely may be carried under special provision 667 b) (ii).
Also usable in water protection areas
The integrated collection trays prevent substances hazardous to water from escaping. The design follows the German AwSV ordinance and the related guidance sheet of the joint federal and state working group (Bund-Länder-Arbeitskreis).
