In car parks and underground garages, the real problem is not the fire but the suspicion: a vehicle with a damaged or conspicuous high-voltage battery that is inside the structure and should not stay there. The suspect vehicle leaves the structure
A vehicle with a damaged or conspicuous high-voltage battery does not belong in an enclosed basement level. The container provides a defined outdoor space to which the vehicle can be moved, instead of leaving it inside the structure.
No fire water in the basement
Water-based methods produce contaminated fire water that has to be retained and disposed of as hazardous waste — in an underground garage, the most costly part of any response. The dry AkkuGrain system does not have this follow-up effort.
Set it down instead of building
The container stands on any paved, level surface and needs neither a foundation nor a power, water or fire water connection. It is ready for use in days rather than months. Whether a permit or consultation with the authorities is required in an individual case depends on the applicable building regulations, the location and the use.
Water protection without converting the site
The integrated collection trays prevent substances hazardous to water from escaping. The parking surface does not need to be sealed or fitted with containment for this.
Documented for insurers and authorities
The TÜV certificate, the dangerous goods expert assessment and the fire test report are available with number and date. They are the basis on which the measure can be justified on technical grounds in discussions with the property insurer.
Rental for temporary requirements
If a requirement only applies for a limited period or a single case needs to be secured, the container comes to your site and goes back afterwards.
